Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, October 4th, 7:00 PM

Called to order 7:16

I. Reports
	A. President
		- Welcome members
	B. Secretary
		- Read minutes
		- Are not acceptable, need to be revised to include officers / advisor 
meeting
	C. Treasurer
		- Club has $1054
	D. Vice President
		1. Expo Committee meeting
			- handed out a 3 page packet including:
			   -> list of man power needed
			   -> schedule of Vendors and what rooms they will be set up in
			   -> Supply needs list
			- May use $50 in budget	(allocated for printing) for Expo flyers.
			- Will be borrowing power strips to place in most rooms.	
			- Media Center needs to be contacted about video taping the talks.  
Also approve with each speaker.
			- WalMart donated $25 purchasing certificate
			    (see IV c,d,e)
			- Jami will contact Coke about banners and donating or selling at cost 
cans of coke.  Soda will be sold at Expo.
			- Expo committee will meet on Friday at 11:00 to discuss disclaimers 
and the Media center.
			- Money allocated for seminars is available.
	E. Gaming Coordinator absent

II.
	A. Disclaimer for Computer Cleaning unavailable
	B. Topics for Laptop U Debate:
		- Talk to Al
		- President should moderate the debate
			- He will view video tapes of previous debates to learn the proper 
procedure
	C. Ideas for Gail's networking talk
		- LAN neighborhood/ future of networking
		- Wireless Networking

III. Computer Gaming
	A. Game Night
		- Proposal to Gail should possibly include that this will be hosted in 
Ricker Lab.  Not definite.
		- Will need to talk to Josh about testing everything before opening to 
the club members and public.
	B. Suggestions for the club.  No members were present, save this agenda 
for next meeting.

 IV.  Other Business
	A. Constitution
		- Spending money approval - The committee presented the new additions 
and changes still need to be made.
			- line including how to approve spending money will be changed. Now, 
the club members and officers need to approve 			  how money will be spent.
		- Meetings - Official meeting will be held every other week, not every 
week, unless otherwise indicated from meeting to 			      meeting.
		- Impeachment - Will wait until 2nd consecutive absence to begin the 
impeachment decision.
		- Need guidelines for Computer Gaming Division.
		- All subcommittee meetings will need 2 officers present.
 	B. Bulletin Board
		- Friday is the deadline to have something put up on the bulletin board
		- Seth will put a small poster up until we come up with a grander idea.
	C. WalMart
		- Buying money box, markers, and paper at WalMart is approved by club.
	F. Other Business
		- Mouse Pads are $650 for 100 pads.  Buying is not approved.
		- Seth will be speaking to Chris Jones about why Table Gaming Club is 
charging fee to UMF students to play games.
		- Chris will check into "recruitment" money when he presents.
		- Need to check into other Expos we can attend.
