Computer Club Minutes from 3/29/01

Seth called meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
Senate gave us $4000.00 next year for a budget.
We are moving $100.00 from topic dinners to hardware
Move $93.00 from stamps and posters to hardware for new speakers.
To build the new computer it will cost $572.00 from hardware.
Buy office chairs? Unanimous vote.
Offered money to Mainestream for monitor, speakers, and printer. Havenăt heard 
back yet.
We are planning on buying books for FrontPage and Photoshop with book money, Buy 
Sims and Elite Force with gaming money.

Look at buying mouse pads with our logo on them from Black Bear Graphics. 
Unanimous vote from all.
Read the letter from Chris and said that he is full of crap because Jen is here 
and she didnăt approve of what he said she did. Write a letter back with the proof 
that he did write the check requests.
First HTML class went well. Next class will be 4-12-01 at 5 in the office.
Open classes to public after break.
Seth is going to start planning things for the computer expo. We will talk about 
the Expo in our meetings. No need for separate meetings. Expo is on 10-27-01. Get 
NDH and Student Center for the expo.
We are planning on buying a stamp for the computer club that states ňProperty Of 
The UMF Computer Club.ó Unanimous vote.
Talked about when we were going on our trip and still havenăt decided a weekend to 
go on. 
Computer Club will again be doing the advertising for Spring Fling weekend. 
Talk to more clubs about doing/updating web pages for them.
