Computer Club Meeting Minutes

Attendance: Seth#2, Amanda, Angie, Rachel, Mary Kat, Scott, Seth#1, Jess.

Anyone have receipts from the Boston Trip? Give them to Seth(not including food).
Need to hold election for Treasurer.
	Angie is nominated, vote by hands. All in favor.
We are also taking the Webmaster position from Seth and putting that up for grabs as 
well.
	Rachel is nominated, vote by hands as well. All in favor. 
Computer has been ordered, $1180. No printer and no scanner included. Need to buy HP.
Boston trip was fun!
	Museum of Art, Omni Theatre, Museum of Art, and we rode on the T.
	We saw many crude people as well!
	It was pleasant and nice. No one got mugged(aw, so sad). 
	We need to pay for our van and we feel it?s really unfair.
Mary is scheduling gaming hours(this means ONLY games).
	Monday 5-7pm
	Wednesday 5-6:30pm
	Friday 5-7pm
We have a box for recycling paper! It?s right next to the bottles.
We have roughly $900 left. 
We?d like to buy a lamp and 2 video cards(for Zeus and Ares).
Web Projects (same things as last week).
	Maybe we should give clubs a 1 week time limit to get info back to us or we drop 
them.
	Mary is doing the Film Club web page.
Gifford?s opens on Friday. We need to go. 3:30 Friday afternoon we?re going.
Computer Smashing: possibly do it during Spring Fling Carnival.
	$1 per swing. Auction off the first one.
We could maybe run an event for Spring Fling. Maybe Karaoke?
Star Wars Episode 2 trailer tonight. Watching it on the big screen tonight.
Discussion about new rules:
1. We need to enforce this rule, no exceptions.
2. Delete this one.
3. No new discussion.
4. Nothing new.
5. Need to come to at least every other meeting. Also need to add that if a 
student needs a computer, a community member needs to move.
6. Reword it: Any officers can only do school or club related work while doing 
office hours.
7. Exception to the rule: if someone needs to use PowerPoint.
8. Fine as is.
9. Agreed.
10. Revise: Clear all downloads and installations with Seth.
Also, if you download something big(like a video), delete it after.
		1 week time limit of keeping a downloaded item on the computers. We 
may delete it after that.
	Random new rule: maybe have a sign in and out sheet so we can kick people off if 
they have been on the computer long enough(if someone else needs it).
All in favor of the new rules.
Kat, delete Matt?s folder when you are done with it.
