About the Club
UMF Campus Residence Council, CRC, is an organization comprised of students from the residence halls. Working together, we do our best to improve the life of the residence halls on campus. We do this through programming in halls and other locations on campus, evaluating the needs of hall residents. We also give input and aid in changes financially and administratively in the residence halls or campus policies. CRC is a great leadership experience for students at UMF. It provides opportunities to meet new people and learn about campus resources while having fun!
Residents from each residence hall (mostly the co-chairs) meet regularly to address the ideas, needs and concerns of the residents. These co-chairs, along with their elected hall secretaries and treasurers, make up the Residence Hall Cooperative. The RHCs act as a communication link between CRC, Student Life, and residence halls. They are also responsible for organizing and promoting residence hall programs and activities.
CRC, as a whole, is involved with numerous events on campus including: Maine End Hunger Week, the Semi-Formal dance, Spring Fling, Faculty-Staff Appreciation, and Family and Friends Fall Fest.
