This site is still under construction, as of . As the semester starts this September, links to Ministry Team members, schedules, and so on will be added. We wanted to give anyone looking at the site a quick overview of IVCF and to assure visitors that we are a very active campus club.
IVCF (Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, called Farmington Christian Fellowship on campus) is a club for absolutely anyone! We aim to provide a place where anyone can come, whether you have been a Christian all your life or have never heard of this "Jesus thing"; whether you are new on campus or a Super Senior; whether you are a good student or someone who could not care less about classes; whether you spend all your time in your room or at parties... No matter what, we are always going to welcome you to our meetings and activities and someone is always available to talk about anything you want; school problems, religion, questions and doubts brought up by professors, or maybe some great news that you just have to share. This does not mean that we are some super-perfect group that wears halos to classes and meditates all day; we have music, movie nights, a group that meets to watch Lost after our weekly meetings, weekend Retreats once a semester... On top of that, no one in FCF thinks they are better than everyone else; no matter who you are, all of us have exams, papers, impossible homework (and sometimes impossible professors), and the other 'joys' that come with college. Personally, I find FCF a great way to unwind and, if necessary, talk to others about my frustrations.
If you are interested in seeing just what we do, our weekly meetings are every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. and are usually in North Dining Hall C.
